About me
I am a hospice chaplain, spiritual care educator, and spiritual director. Before pursuing my ministry career, I received PhD in condensed matter physics at Temple University, Philadelphia. I then received MDiv at the University of Chicago in 2021 and completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education in hospital chaplaincy. I received the certificate for interfaith spiritual direction from the Chaplaincy Institute in 2025. Currently I work at Unity Hospice and Palliative Care Chicagoland.
Spiritual direction is a time and space set aside to engage deep conversations on the meaning of life, the "divine", or that which best remains nameless. In a spiritual direction session, we dive deep into your spiritual life and talk about your spiritual practice and ideas relating to the pursuit of Way and anything that may obstruct your heart-mind from the true freedom.
The sessions could be conducted either in-person or through Zoom. The fee for a 50-minute session is $60-$120 on a sliding scale basis using the Green Bottle model.
